I had a great, crazy week of reading. Due to Dewey's Read-a-thon, I read a ton, or at least it felt like it. I haven't turned on the TV in several days, which is odd for me. But I've been loving it.
Books Finished:
The Inn At Eagle Point (Chesapeake Shores)
Flowers On Main
Evermore: The Immortals
She's Gone Country
On the Steamy Side (Recipe for Love)
Sooner or Later (Deliverance Company #2)
So I have lots of reviews to finish. The read-a-thon sort of threw me off, because I read so much and did not review much. But it's my plan to catch up some this week.
Books to Read:
Harbor Lights (Chesapeake Shores)
Twenty Wishes
Deja Dead: 10th Anniversary Edition (Temperance Brennan Novels)
Books I received:
This week was a crazy week for Goodreads swap. (Ok, I got a little carried away this week...) I hope to get through most of these in the next few weeks.
The Rose Red Bride
Under Her Skin (Lone Star Sisters)
A Woman's Heart
The Sparkling One
Home for the Holidays
A Beautiful Blue Death (Charles Lenox Mysteries)
The September Society (Charles Lenox Mysteries)
Blindness - Jose Saramago
The Kite Runner
Masquerade (Blue Bloods, Book 2)
A Whole New Light
One Reckless Summer: A Destiny Novel
Odd Thomas
The Measure of a Lady: A Novel
Dance upon the Air (Three Sisters Island Trilogy)
Jewels of the Sun
I'll just leave my goal at three books, as I work three nights this week and need to catch up on reviews. But obviously if I finish those, I'll have lots more to read. We'll see what happens. It looks to be an exciting week.
Hope everyone has a good Monday and beginning of the week!
I am in the same book as you with catching up on reviews. Usually I spend time on the weekends reading and writing, but this weekend between cheering and reading I didn't write a thing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Wow you had a great week, I have about 9 reviews to do so I've got a lot of catching up to do too :)
ReplyDeleteI've read Alyson Noel's Immortal series (mixed feelings but I keep reading LOL)
Great titles in your goodreads swap. Have a fantastic week and happy reading!
Oh, I absolutely want to read She's Gone Country. I recently read one of Porter's other books.
ReplyDeleteAlso adore anything by Macomber.
I need to read the Nora Roberts Three Sisters Island trilogy, too.
I have a lot of catching up to do!
Here's my Monday:

I'm so glad to hear that others are catching up to do as well. Makes me feel like less of a slacker. :) Thanks everyone for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteJan, the read-a-thon set me back as well. But I was so glad I could participate. Thanks for the cheering, as I know it brightened some readers days.
Teddyree, I had mixed feelings about Evermore as well, but I couldn't put it down. Maybe that's why I'm putting off writing the review. Guess I'll have to lock myself in my room and just do it.
Laurel, I absolutely loved She's Gone Country. So I definitely recommend you pick it up. Your Monday and week looks interesting as well, and I"ll be interested to hear what you think of the books you pick up this week. I already added several of your books to my forever-growing TBR pile.
Hope you guys have a great week!
You did have an awesome reading week! WOW! Enjoy this week too.
ReplyDeleteI keep wanting to try Susan Mallery or Sherryl Woods. I enjoyed 20 Wishes.
ReplyDeleteI love GoodReads bookswap (although I have gone a bit crazy on it myself the past few weeks)! You will absolutely LOVE The Kite Runner - it is truly worth the read! AND you got a LOT more done during the readathon than I did ..WTG!!
